The community area "nous.innovons.be" is where information related to the innovative potential in the Walloon Region can be found.
This information is available in different forms: description of expertise and skills of users in the area; know-how from university laboratories and higher education institutions, research centres, interested businesses; background articles and recommendations on innovation, etc.
The two main types of information to be found in the community area nous.innovons.be relate to users and organisations.
Users are people who are part of the community of innovators in the Walloon Region: business managers, project sponsors, research centre consultants, university innovators and researchers, etc.
Organisations are different corporate bodies that are in the database in the community area of innovons.be. This database was largely pre-populated from several authentic data sources.
The main data sources for the pre-population are:

The Belgium Banque-Carrefour des Entreprises (BCE)

The database of research units and their projects put in place by the Belgium Council of Francophone University Rectors (CRef)

The Vigie database put in place by the Walloon Telecommunications Agency (AWT)

The database of public research projects implemented by the Operational Directorate General for Economy, Employment and Research (DGO6 Recherche)

The community area "nous.innovons.be":
- offers you an authentic work area to evaluate your expertise and skills, find the partners you need, track your projects, access information otherwise dispersed, add to community forums, etc.;
- is where information related to the innovative potential in the Walloon Region can be found.
- means you don't have to encode your own data if it appears in a database on the website…it is done for you;
- is the entry point to access finance via technology cheques.
All this takes place using different degrees of confidentiality requested by businesses and project owners.
